## What the Claude tracker records

Ranksmile asks Claude through Anthropic's API with web search turned on, and stores the answer with the pages Claude read and the searches it ran.

### Why is Claude an add-on?

Every paid plan includes five engines. Claude answers through Anthropic's API with web search, which costs more per answer, so it is priced separately. Turn it on in **Settings → Billing** and it answers your tracked prompts alongside the other five.

### Is this the same Claude people use on claude.ai?

It is Claude answering with live web search through Anthropic's API, not a copy of the claude.ai app. Answers there can differ with the model and settings a person picks, so read the results as how Claude answers your market, not as one user's screen.
